Good to know
Are my files uploaded to FileMoat?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. Nothing is sent to our server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Will my photos be stretched?
Not with “Fit within a size” or “Percentage”: proportions are always kept. Only “Exact size” forces both dimensions, and says so.
What format do I get back?
JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format. Other formats your browser can open (GIF, BMP, AVIF) are saved as PNG. Location and camera metadata are removed in the process.
