Good to know
Are my files uploaded to FileMoat?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. Nothing is sent to our server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Will phone photos come out sideways?
No. Phones store the camera angle separately from the picture; we read it and place every photo upright in the PDF.
Is image quality reduced?
JPG and PNG images are placed in the PDF as they are, without re-compression. Other formats (and rotated phone photos) are converted to high-quality JPG first.
