Good to know
Are my files uploaded to FileMoat?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. Nothing is sent to our server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn on top of each page, which deters casual copying and makes leaks traceable. Like any PDF watermark, someone with editing software could remove it — it is not encryption.
Which characters can I use?
Latin letters (including accents like é, ü, ñ), numbers and common punctuation. Other scripts such as Arabic or Chinese are not supported yet; the tool tells you if your text contains them.
