FAQ
Good to know
Are my files uploaded to FileMoat?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. Nothing is sent to our server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Will numbers be sideways on landscape or rotated pages?
No. We read each page's orientation and place the number where you see it, the right way up, even on scanned pages that are stored rotated.
Can I start at a number other than 1?
Yes — set “Start at”, for example 5 if this document continues another one. You can also leave the cover page unnumbered.
