Are my files uploaded to FileMoat?
No. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. Nothing is sent to our server — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
There is no fixed limit. Very large documents depend on your device's memory — a typical laptop handles hundreds of pages comfortably.
Will the merged PDF keep links and bookmarks?
Page content, text and images are preserved exactly. Interactive form fields and document-level bookmarks may be simplified.
